Welcome Nusa Swim as Our New Supporting Partner

We are thrilled to announce that Nusa Swim has joined the Healthy Seas Foundation as our newest supporting partner. This exciting collaboration marks a significant step towards achieving a more sustainable future, aligning perfectly with our shared values and mission.

Nusa Swim, founded by the passionate and visionary Emily Cowdrey, is dedicated to creating swimwear that is both environmentally friendly and stylish. Their commitment to sustainability is evident in their use of ECONYL® yarn, a regenerated nylon made entirely from waste materials, including fishing nets recovered by Healthy Seas. This innovative approach not only reduces waste but also supports the circular economy, a goal we both ardently pursue.

Emily Cowdrey, the founder of Nusa Swim, shared her enthusiasm about the partnership, stating:

“Hey, it’s Emily – the founder of NUSA SWIM. We believe in a sustainable future and fashion that is good on both you and nature. All of our swimwear is made from ECONYL yarn and so this partnership with Healthy Seas is such a crucial big step closer to the circular economy we strive to achieve. We are so excited and we know our community will feel the same!”

The Impact of Our Partnership

We are confident that this collaboration will inspire more brands in the fashion industry to adopt more sustainable practices and join us in our mission to safeguard the oceans. With the support of Nusa Swim and our 150 partners and nearly 550 dedicated volunteers, we are making significant strides towards a healthier and more sustainable future for our marine environments.

As we welcome Nusa Swim to the Healthy Seas family, we are excited about the future and the positive impact we will create together. Our combined efforts will continue to drive awareness, foster innovation, and, most importantly, protect the vital ecosystems that our oceans and seas represent.

Thank you, Nusa Swim, for your commitment to sustainability and for partnering with us on this crucial journey. We look forward to the incredible work we will accomplish together.
