Beach Cleanup with Style: Soso Swim and Healthy Seas Partner for Earth Day Event in LA

On Earth Day, Santa Monica Beach in Los Angeles saw a unique blend of fashion, environmental activism, and community spirit. The Healthy Seas Foundation, in collaboration with Soso Swim, organized a beach cleanup event that not only aimed to rid the shoreline of litter but also inspired broader conversations towards ocean conservation. This special event drew a diverse crowd of influencers, followers, and eco-enthusiasts, all united in their mission to make a positive impact.

The Special Edition Swimwear for a Cause

Soso Swim, a partner of Healthy Seas, designed a limited-edition swimwear collection for this Earth Day event. The collection featured a unique design with the message “For the Earth.” Not only does it look fabulous, but it also serves a greater purpose. All revenue from the sale of this special edition goes directly to the Healthy Seas Foundation to support our projects that tackle marine litter. This swimwear is still available online until the end of the special edition, giving everyone a chance to contribute to the cause while sporting sustainable fashion.

The Earth Day Event in Los Angeles

The beach cleanup event, co-organized by Soso Swim and Healthy Seas, was a massive success despite the chilly weather. A lively crowd gathered on the shores of Los Angeles, including influencers, followers from California and other eco-conscious individuals. The cleanup effort was both productive and enjoyable, with participants collecting large amounts of trash from the beach. The event concluded with pizza and a DJ set at sundown, creating a festive atmosphere and further encouraging connections, conversations and environmental consciousness.

Impact and Inspiration

This Earth Day event highlighted the power of collaboration and community engagement. It showed that when people come together for a common cause, they can make a tangible difference. The success of the event is a testament to the dedication of Healthy Seas and Soso Swim, and we hope it will inspire more partners to organize similar events. By working together, we can raise awareness about ocean conservation, educate people about the importance of protecting our marine ecosystems, and ultimately, attract new people to the marine conservation cause.

Get Involved

If you’re interested in supporting ocean conservation and the efforts of Healthy Seas, there are many ways to get involved. You can purchase the special edition Soso Swimwear to support our projects directly, participate in future beach cleanups, or simply spread the word about the foundation’s mission.
