The Healthy Seas team together with Cousteau Divers and Ghost Fishing is in Santorini preparing for tomorrow’s big “Save Your Breath” event. Yesterday, we tested the high end live streaming equipment and connection, all sponsored by Seascape Subsea Technology and NanoCosmos. Everything worked perfectly, and we are very excited to share the ghost net dive with you tomorrow!
Today, students from the local primary school, accompanied by their teacher, came down to the Ammoudi harbor, for a meet-and-greet with the divers! The students were carrying signs they created themselves asking the world to care for the sea!
Also today, we welcomed Sky News/Sky Ocean Rescue who has joined our team to film the mission and efforts for the establishment of the Santorini MPA.

We are very thankful to our exclusive sponsor and supporters: Carvico S.p.A., Aquafil S.p.A., Seascape Subsea Technology B.V., NanoCosmos, Oia Sunset Cruise, Fishermen Association of Santorini, Santorini Marine Protected Area Association, Primary School of Oia, Port Authority of Santorini, Boatmen of Santorini and the Stavros Niarchos Foundation.
The event is being held under the auspices of the Municipality of Thira (Santorini) and The Goulandris Natural History Museum.

Click here to watch the live stream (June 8th, 11 am UTC+3)!
